Mobile Banking

Altabank’s mobile banking options allow you to access real-time balance and transaction information in the palm of your hand. Visit on your smartphone browser or use one of or our native mobile banking apps for iPhone®, iPad® or Android™.

How do I get mobile banking?

Mobile App for iPhone and iPad

Download the mobile banking app to your iPhone or iPod Touch device on the iTunes Store℠ or on the iPhone App Store℠. Just search for “Altabank” or "Glacier Family of Banks" and then install. Tap “FREE” to install the app. Log in using your existing online banking credentials.

Altabank’s mobile banking services use the same high security standards as our personal and business online banking services. Mobile banking uses 128-bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption to protect your information, and we don’t store any information on your phone. You are required to log in each time you access your account information or bill pay services through mobile banking. Mobile banking is available to existing online banking users only. All terms applicable to online banking apply to mobile banking.

To ensure your safety, we recommend that you only download our native mobile apps from the following sources: download our iPhone app from the iTunes Store℠ or iPhone App Store℠ and the Android App from the Android Market™.

Remote Deposit Capture

With remote deposit capture, qualified mobile banking users§ can deposit checks through our mobile banking app directly into their business or personal checking or savings accounts without having to come into a branch. Just snap photos of the front and back of your check, enter the deposit amount, choose an account, and submit your deposit.|| It’s never been easier—or safer—to bank from the comfort of your phone.

Bill Pay

Online bill pay allows you to pay anyone, anywhere, anytime without writing or mailing a single check. Simply log in to your Altabank online banking account to set up one-time or recurring online bill payments from any of your checking accounts. You can easily access your transaction history and pending payments anytime you want, as well as view images of cleared checks.


Altabank offers electronic statements (“eStatements”) for all of your personal and business accounts. eStatements contain all the information that you receive with a paper statement—including your check images, transaction history and notices—but are securely accessible for you to view or download via your online banking account.

There are so many reasons to make the switch from paper statements to eStatements from Altabank:

There is no cost to enroll in eStatements, and it reduces our costs, which helps us pass the savings on to you in the form of low-cost or free accounts.

Receiving digital eStatements is more secure than receiving paper statements in your mailbox, where they could be stolen. Your eStatements are protected with your online banking ID, password and industry-standard encryption measures.

View, print or download your eStatements with an Internet-connected computer anytime. Save and organize your eStatements in one central location on your hard drive, making them easy to retrieve or view them online for up to 18 months.

Faster Arrival
Unlike paper statements, which can take two or three business days by mail, eStatements give you next-day delivery.

Enroll by logging into your online banking account and click on the Documents tab.

eStatements Technical Requirements: Your eStatements will be accessible as a PDF file requiring Adobe® Reader® (version 6.0 or higher) for viewing. Adobe Reader is installed on most computers, but you can download a copy of the software at if you need to. This service also requires that you use a Web browser that supports 128-bit encryption.

*To enroll online for online banking you must have an active account at Altabank and an email address on file.
†Although mobile banking is provided by Altabank free of charge, you may be charged access rates depending on your mobile carrier. Web access is needed to use mobile banking. Check with your service provider for details on specific fees and charges.
‡Online customers must first enroll in bill pay and establish payees in online banking prior to using this function in mobile banking.
§Enrollment is available in mobile banking. To be eligible for Mobile ExpressDeposit™, you must be an Altabank online banking customer with direct ownership in an Altabank checking or savings account, your account must have been active for at least 60 days, no overdrafts in the last six months, and no more than 1 charge back in the last six months.
||Deposit cut off time is 6:00 p.m. Mountain Time, Monday-Friday (excluding holidays). Deposits submitted after 6:00 p.m. will be processed on the next business day. Deposits are subject to verification and not available for immediate withdrawal. Deposit limits and other restrictions apply.
¶Balances and information in online banking reflect the most current information known to the Bank. For example, debits or credits not yet presented to the Bank would not be reflected in online banking.
