Debit FAQs

Call our card activation line at 833-546-4425 and follow the prompts to activate your new card. After activating your card stay on the line and listen to the prompts to establish your PIN.  You may also establish your PIN by calling the PIN Now Service at 888-891-2435, or by visiting any of our 25 locations or Glacier Family of Banks branch.

Notify us immediately any time and any day of the week. During normal banking hours (9AM – 5PM MT), you may call our office directly at (801) 642-3456 or toll free (800) 815-BANK (2265) or (888-297-3416). For after hours, weekend or holiday service, call card security at the phone numbers below:

You will need to have your card number available when you call. If you don’t know your full card number, knowing the first eight numbers of the lost card, your Social Security Number or Tax ID number, and/or other personal information will be enough to help the card agent find your entire card number. By calling us as soon as possible, you may avoid liability for charges not made by you.⁕

Visa® Altabank cards are accepted at the worldwide ATM network displaying the Visa®, Plus®, Allpoint or Star symbols. No-fee ATMs are available at any Altabank location, and any Glacier Family of Banks and Allpoint Network.

If you received a new debit card and activated it on or after March 14, 2022 you will need to establish a new PIN. At any time you may change your PIN by contacting customer service at 1-800-815-BANK (2265) or visiting one of our branch or ATM locations.

Your current card will stay active until you activate the new card.

Please destroy your old card once you have activated your new card.
